Between the Pont Neuf and the rue de Rivoli, The Hotel de la Place du Louvre*** is located in a quiet street facing the colonnades du Louvre and the Saint Germain l’Auxerrois church. It is an ideal base for visiting the George Pompidou Center (Beaubourg), the Hotel de Ville and the Marais district where you will enjoy the numerous créateur shops and the splendid Place de Vosges.

In this characteristic old Parisian building, stonewalls and modern decor work wonderfully together. It is noticeable in the hall and the breakfast room which have both been fully refurbished in contemporary and warm tones in 2009.

The breakfast is served in the “Cave des Mousquetaires” (Musketeers), a cut stone vaulted cave that was once connected to the Louvre.

Each of the 20 rooms of the hotel is named after a famous painter. Some of them offer beautiful views on the Louvre. They are fitted with a flat screen satellite television, free Wi-Fi access, mini-bar, telephone and air conditioning. Kettles with drinks are available upon request.
