L'hôtel de la Place du Louvre ***

a hotel inspired by the spirit of the place

If you come to Paris to admire one of the most beautiful museums in the world, otherwise known as the Louvre, stay at the Hotel de la Place du Louvre.
Not only is it located right by the Louvre, the Seine and the Pont des Arts, but also near the Georges Pompidou Centre and the Ile de la Cité.
In this characteristic old Paris building, stonewalls and modern decor work wonderfully together. Each room is designated by the name of a famous artist, and breakfast is served in the “Cave des Mousquetaires” (Musketeers), a vaulted cave which was once connected to the Louvre. The windows look onto the famous Colonnade du Louvre, one of the gems of the royal palace that took almost a thousand years to build.
